Cooking together is fun! Growing together is fun!
Community Kitchens serve new immigrants, seniors, youth, and single mothers by providing community, food security, and resources. Each group meets regularly to cook and learn about nutrition and healthy lifestyles, to eat together or to take food home to their families.
The Young parents Community Kitchen and the Richmond GROW Project also provide a place to garden together. Groups collaborate with local churches, community centres, and a Richmond low cost housing complex for kitchen and gardening space.
